According to several Twitter accounts specialized in tracking Secret Services’ planes, Western Intelligence Agencies as CIA, DGSE and BND paid several visits to Libya recently.
It appears all the most influent Western Countries sent representatives of their Secret Services (the American Central Intelligence Agency – CIA, the French Direction Générale de la Sécurité Extérieure – DGSE and the German Bundesnachrichtendienst – BND) in Libya to meddle in local affairs. All this intense traffic, that some Twitter users dubbed “invasion”, comes after new developments on the ground in the on going struggle between the Government of National Accord (GNA) and the Army (LNA) lead by General Khalifa Haftar.

In the following posts, the internet site Flightradar24 follows a Cessna 560, allegedly used by the CIA to transport personnel for short distances, flying the 28th of May from Benghazi to Zuwara and then to Malta; the same day the same plane flew back to Zwara again.

France is also very active in Libya. The conduct of secret missions in Libya goes back to the beginning of the revolution as showed by the crash that involved an SA-227AT that was transporting DGSE operatives.
As depicted in the following posts, a private plane Dassault Falcon 50, probably linked to the French Intelligence Agency, flew the 8th of June from Algeria to Lyon (France) and, finally, to Benghazi. The connection between France Government and General Khalifa Haftar is well known and French DGSE agents frequently meet Libyan National Army cadres.

German BND seems to be very active, with flights reaching Benghazi and Tripoli in several occasion. In the following post a Cessna 560XLS Citation Excel, apparently used by the German Secret Service, flew the 6th of June from Germany to the Libyan Capital, probably to meet Government of National Accord representatives.
It seems #Libya is becoming a bit busy in those days!

Accounts specialized in aviation matters spotted three private planes, departed from Malta the 29th of May, flying in an almost tight formation towards Benghazi and than back to Malta. The tiny island has always played a relevant role in hosting shady activities as the ones chosen by intelligence agency. The three planes transported supposed Secret Service agents from Germany and France to Benghazi where they probably held meetings with key Libyan National Army personnel.

Besides the aforementioned flights, further information shows an unusual flight activity taking place in Malta airport the 6th of June. In specific, a Raytheon 390 Premier, usually referred to German delegations, flew from Benghazi to Malta landing in the afternoon.

Odd coincidence was that after 10-15 minutes another private flight coming from Lyon (France), Dassault Falcon 50, landed in the very same airport.
