A government statement highlighted severe human rights violations and crimes against humanity, including ethnic cleansing, being committed by all parties involved in Sudan’s internal conflict since April of the previous year.
Despite this context, the Sudanese representative accused Libya and its military of supporting one faction over another.
According to the statement, the Libyan government emphasized that the Sudanese envoy ignored the crucial role played by the Libyan Armed Forces in securing the borders with Sudan and other neighboring countries. The government condemned these statements as inaccurate and baseless.
