Last night, in the city of Sebha, gunfights took place between units of the Tareq Bin Zayed Brigade (TBZ) and those of the 116th Battalion of Masud Jeddi.
The 116th Battalion first attacked the Security Department headquarters in Sebha, trying to occupy it, and subsequently took control of some roads in the city center.
The clashes, which continued all night and then stopped at the first light of dawn with the withdrawal of the units of the 116th Battalion from the occupied positions, caused two deaths and several injuries.
The clashes were caused by the non-assignment to the units of the 116th Battalion of eleven vehicles sent yesterday by the Ministry of the Interior to the local Sebha Security Department.
