Italian Embassy in Libya has announced the landing of an aircraft carrying aid to the city of Derna and the areas affected by Storm Daniel in eastern Libya. The Embassy said in a statement the aircraft landed in Benghazi, coming from the UN Humanitarian Response Depot (UNHRD) stores in Brindisi, Italy.

In addition, Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh met with France’s Ambassador to Libya Mostafa Mihraje and the French President’s Special Envoy to Libya, Paul Soler. The three discussed the reconstruction of the coastal city of Derna, which was widely devastated by Storm Daniel on September 10.
