- The Libyan Illegal Migration Control Department on Tuesday repatriated 248 illegal migrants. Among them, 120 were deported by air back to Niger, while the remaining 128 were deported by land back to Chad, Badraddin Ben-Hamed, head of the Deportation Office of the department, told Xinhua.

Libya’s Acting Foreign Minister Taher Al-Bahour held talks on Monday with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell on the sidelines of the 8th Union for the Mediterranean Regional Forum. The two chief diplomats discussed “common concern for the situation in the Middle East, improving bilateral cooperation on different fields, including migration, and the need for political solutions in Libya,” according to a statement by Borrell via X.
- The International Organization for Migration (IOM) on Monday said 163 migrants were intercepted off the coast of Libya in the past week. “From Nov. 19 to Nov. 25, 163 migrants were intercepted and returned to Libya,” IOM said in a statement. The migrants included 20 women and 12 children, IOM said, adding that one dead body of a migrant was retrieved.

French Ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje, has discussed the initiative of the UN envoy, Abdoulaye Bathily, regarding reaching a political solution in Libya, in a meeting with the Second Deputy Speaker of the High Council of State (HCS), Omar Al-Obaidi.
- A high-level source of the Libyan National Army’s General Command said in press statements that any political dialogue between the Libyan actors that does not include an invitation to representatives of the Libyan Government is an unbalanced and unacceptable.
- The Ministry of the Interior of the Government of National Unity has approved a plan of security measures for a conference for Sahel countries which will be held today and on 28 November in Tripoli and will see the participation of the labor ministers of the Sahel and Sahara countries. The Tripoli Security Directorate indicated, in a statement yesterday, “the distribution of security tasks between the components of the Ministry of the Interior and the security agencies involved”.
