Serraj strongly criticized a statement in which LNA showed regret for shooting down an US drone flying over sky of Libya. Indeed, after the incident happened, LNA proposed to the USA to implement new procedures in order to find a better coordination avoiding future incidents.
The New York Times reported that “LNA and USA will better coordinate their ops over Tripoli & its sorrounding area to avoid similar incidents in the future”.
A source close to Fayez al Saraj reported the President of Government of National Accord to be livid over the on-going support granted by the United States to Khalifa Haftar.
